Exterior

This 28ft Airstream (incl drawbar) was specifically manufactured at the Airstream factory in the US for Australia so it meets registration standards here in all States. It has two doors, one on the American curb side and a second on the Australian curb side. It also has a narrower body that is used for the European rather than the US market at 8ft / 2.43m so it meets Australia and Europe’s 2.5m width road requirements. It is one of only several Airstreams that have had these specific modifications. 
Interior

This Airstream can sleep 4-5 with a large bedroom at one end with a queen bed and a dining table that converts to another double bed at the other end. There is also additional couch space that makes single bed if required. There is a shower and separate toilet, kitchen and living area with panoramic windows.

Buyers should expect that all vintage Airstreams have scratches and dents on their exteriors. Plywood floors have some rot and often needs partial or full replacement. Steel chassis’s sometimes require repair due to rust. Airstreams may leak and require thorough re-sealing. Axles and brakes may need to be replaced. Wiring will generally need to be replaced due to age and it being American 110V. Buyers are responsible for conducting a thorough inspection before buying. Aluminia wants you to be well informed and will assist you in assessing the Airstream you are considering, but Aluminia cannot take responsibility for knowing or advising you of an Airsream’s full condition.
