All vintage Airstreams have wear and imperfections, and may require partial or full restoration. Aluminia discloses all known flaws. However, full condition may only be discoverable at the stage when an Airstream is deconstructed for restoration. Buyers should expect that all vintage Airstreams have scratches and dents on their exteriors. Plywood floors have some rot and often needs partial or full replacement. Steel chassis’s sometimes require repair due to rust. Airstreams may leak and require thorough re-sealing. Axles and brakes may need to be replaced. Wiring will generally need to be replaced due to age and it being American 110V. Buyers are responsible for conducting a thorough inspection before buying.
